Reflection 1

Reflection 1

I studied writing and reading for six weeks and I am going to write about this experience .

I heard about blogs before the course and I didn't think about making one because I saw many blogs that looked very nice so I thought that they worked hard to do it and they spent a lot of time to do it and I thought if I would make one it wouldn't look good so I didn't bother making a blog . I started making a blog on a class with a help from a friend I did the basic things so the blog didn't look good but after many classes the blog started to look good and I am on my way to make better . I learned that when I am writing a summary or an essay that I have to change the hole sentences  that I am going to write it or most of it. Also I learned an easy way to find the references using the Internet  for the summary or the essay that I am going to write it .

This course was boring  when I was reading many essays but it was joyful when I was I leaving earlier on some day and helpful since I used more technology .

Preserving Emirati Traditions .

To preserve the national identity in the UAE people think they should show tourists Emirati culture .Young people have lost interest to learn about their traditions. Not all youths have lost touch with their heritage , some students used their  project to educate Them selves and their mates about traditional sports. Other students made a documentary about some traditional sports in the UAE , they interviewed Bedouin  . They focused on tradition because young Emirati didn't know much   about their culture. A long time ago people in the UAE used to hunt animals by falcons and saluki . If young people aren't aware of traditions and aren't educated from anywhere  they will forget about their traditions.Hunting is banned by law in some areas except for a short time so traditions will be alive. People in Abu Dhabi will make sure  they will never forget their  traditions.
